Lava Lamp Instructions
1. Setup
Place the lamp on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heaters, or air conditioners.
Keep it out of reach of children and pets, as it can get hot.
Make sure the cord can reach an outlet without being pulled or tripped over.
2. First Use
Plug the lamp into a standard power outlet.
Switch it on (a toggle switch on the cord).
3. Warm-Up Time
The wax needs time to melt and flow.
First warm-up may take 2–3 hours.
Once warmed up, the wax will start forming blobs that float up and down.
4. Operating Guidelines
Optimal run time: 6–8 hours at a time.
Do not run the lamp for more than 10 hours continuously, this can overheat the lamp and stop the wax from moving properly.
After use, turn it off and let it cool completely before moving.
5. Care & Maintenance
Never shake or move the lamp while warm, it can cloud the liquid permanently.
If the liquid appears cloudy, allow the lamp to rest (turned off) for 24 hours, then try again.
Clean only the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Never immerse in water.
6. Safety Tips
The glass bottle gets very hot during operation. Handle only when cooled.
Do not open the glass container, contents are sealed and not replaceable.
Keep away from flammable materials.
Please note: Each lava lamp is unique. Because of the natural texture of the wax and liquid, you may notice tiny bubbles or particles inside with color changes in time, these are completely normal and add to the lamp’s one-of-a-kind character without affecting its beautiful flow.
